Project Overview
As a photographer, I explore culture, intimacy, memory, and space through 35mm film. My work captures everyday moments that hold deeper cultural narratives, and my images have been included in group exhibitions. I'm currently expanding into curatorial work focused on artists from the Armenian and SWANA/MENA diasporas.
Role & Contributions
Exhibited original photography in group shows across California
Co-curating/showing in upcoming show on diasporic narratives
Collaborated with curators, artists, and gallery teams to shape exhibition concepts and audience experience
-
Presented analog photography rooted in cultural documentation
Built relationships with community-focused art spaces
Positioned as both exhibiting artist and curatorial lead
-
My approach centers on storytelling through analog film, using natural light, intention, and cultural sensitivity. I prioritize minimal interference and let emotion and environment guide the frame. In curatorial work, I focus on visual cohesion, thematic depth, and highlighting underrepresented voices.
